Fall Closet Inspiration

Happy Wednesday loves!

How is everyone feeling today? This Week is halfway through and my birthday is practically 6 days away. I’m super excited but part of me is also wary because the weather has never been favorable to me on my day. Last year, I remembered having made all these cool plans with my husband and the entire family only to get really disappointed. So this year, I refuse to have my hopes up. I do however remain optimistic in case anyone or anything comes up lol.

Being a fashion blogger means expanding your horizon. What I mean by that is to indulge and involve other people with the same interest to put ideas and thoughts together in the form of doing collaborations. This may include fashion gurus, you-tubers and just anyone with a passion for fashion. Many you-tubers and fashionistas do this quite often.  Not only does it shine a light on your works but it also can bring different and individualized perspectives on styling. I love to collaborate because I get the opportunity to meet some fabulous people, showcase our unique fashion choices, share ideas while empowering each other along the way.

So you see, this week I’ve had the opportunity to do that. This has been my second doing a collaboration since I started to blog about almost a year ago but this one was a tad bit different. Two words to describe it; interesting and intense. This is not just an ordinary photo shoot kind of day and calling it quits. Instead, it was also a video shoot for fall outfit inspiration look-book intended for our YouTube channels (stay tuned for that). I say Interesting because what normally takes about 5 hours to shoot had to be condensed in as little as 2 hours, just because we started terribly late and only had less than 2 hours of natural daylight.

As a matter of fact, we were running helter-skelter through changing and shooting, in order to get through all four outfits. In the end, we were only able to do three looks for the video shoot and managed all four for the photos. So here are all four looks, please enjoy and feel free to comment on which look/looks are your favorite (s)

Look 1: Casual Chic

This look is all about looking casual but clean. I love a good jogger pants! It’s airy, comfortable and chic at the same time. The white sweatshirt and booties gave it that clean feel. White boot/booties are the trends you should look out for this season.

Edna literally puts the “fab ” in fabulous you guys! Those pants are so in style. I am loving the blue denim jacket she paired with it to accentuate the look.

Look 2: Leather and thigh high Boots

All thing Leather is back for the season y’all!Edna rocked this look like a punk rock diva. This fringe leather skirt is fun and it gets more fun with thigh high boots. Perfect for the season. You can absolutely wear this look with or without the trench coat.

My office inspired leather look is one intended for any formal kind of day. If you want to jazz up your everyday put together look and kinda deviate from the ordinary, then this look is for you. One you can wear to any formal or informal gathering, with or without the boots.

Look 3: Trench on Denim

You cannot do fall looks without the trench coat guys. This look is so simple yet so high fashion. It’s simple and sophisticated.

Three words to describe this look. Classic, classic, and classic. Edna is bringing the 70s,80s and the 90s in an all vintage ensemble. Denim on denim is always fabulous when styled right. And she did! Nothing too extra to overshadow the whole idea. She has such an exuberant personality and confidence.

Look 4: Fall Dresses

We all know a great time to pull of some fab styling ideas is the great fall season. Boyfriend shirt dresses paired with a jacket is a great look for fall.

Edna came through for this look. She looked effortless and stunning. The waterfall leather jacket and laced-up heels added a classy and more dressy feel to the shirt dress. Awesome job!

Sweater dresses are sought-after trends of fall. This bodycon midi sweater dress is sexy, and the olive color is always a  great color for fall. I paired it with a fun hat and my white booties to brighten the look and give it a more fun and dynamic look.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you enjoyed all the looks. Like and comment when possible. Thank you!

p.s My one-year anniversary shoot will be up on Saturday. See you soon .💋💋💋
